Is it legal to receive a stablecoin in Hong Kong?Yes. The HKD stablecoin is issued under the regulatory oversight of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). NGOs can legally accept donations in this format, as long as they follow applicable compliance and accounting rules.

What if an NGO doesn’t know how to use crypto or manage a wallet?We provide: Guided onboarding Help choosing between custodial (easy) and non-custodial (secure) wallets Staff training in English, Cantonese or Mandarin Ongoing support as they begin to receive and use stablecoin donations

Can donors give in traditional fiat currency too?Yes. C4G accepts donations in HKD, USD, and other major currencies. We handle conversions and ensure the destination NGO receives the value in their preferred form, including stablecoin if needed.

How do you ensure the funds are used properly?Every donation made through C4G is tracked via: On-chain receipts NGO-level dashboards (in development) Internal vetting of each partner NGO We also work with NGOs to build basic transparency practices suitable for the digital context.

What kind of NGOs do you support?We focus on local and grassroots NGOs based in Hong Kong or Southern Asia. Priority is given to organizations working in: Social inclusion Women & children Mental health Crisis response We do not support political or religious campaigns.
